A bit about me:
I've been obsessed with houses and design for as long as I can remember. I think I have probably read every issue of vogue living, home beautiful and a myriad of other home magazines since I was 18 (I'm now 26).
When it came time for me to buy a home I searched for a long time to find something that was right for me. One unfortunate thing I came across in my search was the number of properties that had been renovated using cheap (and generally ugly) finishings. With this in mind I intentionally bought an unrenovated property - located in a great street and which was quite large in size for a 2 bedroom villa.
I personally don't believe you have to spend top dollar to get great results. With this in mind, I have decided to embark on my own renovation journey. I flip flop between design styles, I love clean modern lines and have a soft spot for mid-century furniture. Hopefully I can bring the two looks together and achieve a cohesive look. Wish me luck!
Here are the photos of the property before the renovations began.
